MOTIVATION EDUCATION™ was founded 20 years ago by K-16 Educator Bob Keddell who works to bridge the gaps between expert real world activity and education research. The organization directly supports teachers and educators working to accomplish this vision through numerous collaborations, creation of original resources and programs while working with the instructors to empower their careers through publications. Motivation Education™ is an education format that, for the past 20 years, has collaborated with major informal education institutions to produce standards-based curriculum, original programming designs and materials designed uniquely to engage the audiences of its clients. A sampling of the collaborations includes the National Museum of Natural History, the Blacks of the Chesapeake Foundation, the Government of Panama, the Smithsonian Associates, the Smithsonian Environmental Resources Center, the National Aquarium in Baltimore and the Smithsonian Tropical Research Center. The all professional teaching staff has boosted their careers and measured student engagement through the organization’s MOTIVATOR MAPS FOR EDUCATORS™ lesson format, client based program development and its emphasis on the Action Research principle of “triangulation.”
