Who Killed Rocky Rockfish - A Total Prompt Play
Welcome to ECRCME's very successful total prompt theater murder mystery - "Who Killed Rocky Rockfish?" This play has now been performed hundreds of times at such locations as the Smithsonian Children's Theater, been used as the introduction to 5th graders to excite them about middle school and in single classrooms in a single period. Total Prompt means there is limited need for rehearsals as the lines can be read. EVERYONE is involved as the audience becomes the jury to vote on who dunnit. All are suspects (including the judge and the audience) and all could be guilty. Often fun and slightly out of control during the trial, the full script provides a STEM introductory activity to get the mystery rolling. Maybe it was Solvent Sally, Hot Water Harry, or Danielle Debris. We will find out while everyone gets an Environmental Education and has a good time while at it.
