Teaching Kindness
The Motivator Map for Educators "Teaching Kindness" directly works to add to the socio-emotional repertoire of an educator. The full set of resources and suggested book has been used to support the building of community in after school groups and to bring together diverse kids in classrooms too. What is unusual here is that this is a combination of learning a bit of history, playing active games, considering how to manage oneself in discussion, writing rules and taking responsibility for your own actions. Topics potentially to cover include acts of kindness and even bullying. It is easy to generate meaningful self-awareness with this cluster of resources.
